<p>When we laugh our bodies reduce the level of the hormones cortical, dopamine, and adrenaline. These are the common types of hormones that cause stress. <p>Laughter is something that not only makes us smile &#8211; but also exercises the diaphragm, allows the abs to contract, and gives the shoulders a good workout. This works out your muscles and allows them to relax when you are finished.</p>
<p>It also provides us with a distraction and a much welcome one at that. It allows you to take the focus from the anger, stress, guilt, and hard emotions that you are going through that the time. Instead it allows you to put things into perspective and to clear your mind. This allows you to start thinking a bit positively and understand how to handle things.</p>
