I am not quit sure if at all – if something happen and we had no water left if there would be any possible solutions.

Keeping this in mind now that you know how important water is. You may find it interesting or even scary to know how little of your water especially the water sent into your home is clean and pure.

It is almost common knowledge that the water standards in America are falling. But many out there mar not know why. The biggest factors that contribute to America’s declining water standards are the inadequate and out dated water supply infrastructure for America, industrial chemical waste, and our growing population needing more water every day.

So the best way to handle this problem is to take matters in to your own hands and make sure that your are filtering your water at the point of use by using a refrigerator water filter, a filter attachment at your faucet, under the counter water filter, or even portable sports bottle water filters. Different Types Of Pool Filters

There are many things used to help keep pools clean – but none is more important and more useful than a pool filter. There are three different types of pool filters that include; cartridge filters, sand filters, and DE filters.

Cartridge Filters

Cartridge filters are built using a special paper like cartridge. This is the simplest and the least expensive filter that you can choose for maintaining your pool. It works by pushing the water through the filter. As it passes the paper like filter will grab hold of the debris. They range between 100 to 300 sqft to ensure that they do not clog up quickly and will last longer. Cartridge filters should be cleaned once or twice every season.

DE Filters

Th DE filter uses diatomaceous earth. It has been built with plastic grids that lay over the fabric made from a plastic like material. The diatomaceous earth is used to cover the grid and is what will filter the debris from the pool. DE has the ability to filter out smaller debris than sand filters.

Sand Filters

These sand filters use a special type of graded sand. It works by pushing the water through a tank and a diffuser. When the water travels through the sand it will work to grab hold of the debris. The water will continue through without the debris and travel to the bottom of the filter before being returned back into the pool.
