Exercise is something that all of us know that we need to do – but so many of us feel that we do not have the time or energy for it. Between work and school we feel that there is no time for anything else in our lives. But exercising is important because it will help us to keep the weight off and our bodies healthy.

Walking

Walking is one of the best exercises that you can do and you don’t even need a gym membership for it. All you need is a safe neighborhood and the right walking shoes. The best way to get in shape and lose weight is to walk two to three miles every day. Make sure to bring a bottle of water with you so you do not get dehydrated.

Weight Machines

You need to be able to work out every muscle in your body to keep them strong and healthy. Weight machines are the best way to do this. Make sure to use the amount of weight that you can handle – but that is also not too light. You need to be able to push yourself so that you will build up new muscle.

Work Out DVDs

Sometimes we don’t have the time or the money to go to the gym. You can find dozens of work out DVDs that will push your limits and burn the fat. All you need is a comfortable mat to work on and some good music to work out to.

Elliptical Machines

Most people who go to the gym will try to get in a cardio workout more then the muscle work out. One of the best machines you could use for this is an elliptical. This is much better then the treadmill because it works out all the muscles in your legs and actually burns more calories.
