Having a baby is an experience that no one can ever forget. For many women it is something that brings up a lot of emotions. They are excited to be a mother, amazed at the process that you have to take to get there, and at times sick because every smell makes you want to vomit. By the third trimester the woman is ready to have the baby out so that she can look at him or her and take care of them.
Of course once that happens you have to worry about trying to get yourself back into shape and being the same size you were before you got pregnant. Most women will gain between ten to fifty pounds of weight when they become pregnant. This is a dramatic change and not always a comfortable one.
The first thing that you need to do is drink lots of water. If you are breastfeeding than this is going to be great. While breastfeeding you have to eat plenty of calories and healthy foods so that your baby will never go without. Of course this feeding is great because it will burn a ton of calories for you and help to shrink your belly faster.
If you are not going to do this than you will need to lower the calories enough to burn fat – but not so much that you do not have energy. Stick to eating health foods that will burn away the stomach fat and give you energy. Eat healthy fruits, veggies, and lean proteins.
When it comes to weight loss you need to make sure that you also find a way to add in some exercise. Try to go walking 30 minutes or more everyday. You should also do some weight lifting so that you will be able to build muscle strength at the same time. Try to work with a friend so you will stay motivated.
