Scuba diving is a great hobby that people share all around the world. So many people love to be able to dive beneath the surface of the water and travel deep under water. In order to see the beautiful scene below the surface you have to find the right type of scuba mask that will fit your face and give you clear vision.

Single Pane Lens

These types of masks are built with a single lens that is on the front of the mask and a lens on either side of the face. The side lenses are used to give a better peripheral vision to those who want it.

Double Pane Lens

This is just like the single pane except that it has two lenses in the front and one lens on either side of the face. This is built with a separation in the center of the lens in the front.

No Purge

The no purge type is used specifically for people who dive. These are some of the more popular and can be either single or double lens. These are designed with a plain rubber nose that helps to prevent water from leaking inside and blurring your vision.

These are also for divers. These are designed with a purge valve that is placed beneath the nose. This works to clear the mask when the person exhales into it. The downside to this is that divers often have trouble equalizing and free flowing and deeper depths.

Full Face

The full face scuba masks are some of the most expensive. However, they are also some of the most convenient to use. These are designed to cover the person’s whole face. This keeps the water out completely and has a mouthpiece built into the mask. This makes it a lot easier for the diver to breathe. Professional divers are usually the only people who will use these.
