How many times have we tried to take a test for school or for work and failed miserably? Even though we stayed up every night studying and not having a life we still couldn’t manage to get it done right! This is often caused by nerves and overstressing more than it is a lack of knowledge.

Relax

The first thing you have to do is to relax! I am not saying that you should blow off the importance of the test. What I am saying is that you should not automatically assume that you are going to fail. Be optimistic and try not to get worked up over everything that you are trying to study.

Study

Obviously it will help to study the materials that you will be going over during the exam. Ask someone to come over a couple nights before a quiz you on some things. You also need to find the best method that helps you to remember everything. Sometimes people have to read and write down the information before it sticks in their brains.

Eat Healthy

This is the time to listen to your parents and eat your green veggies and fruits. Healthy foods like this will give you more energy and is less detrimental to your health than soda and energy drinks.

Sleep

I know that you are trying to cram everything in – but sleeping three hours every night is going to hurt you. When you run on lack of sleep your mind becomes sluggish and you will have trouble focusing. The best way to pass the test is to sleep normally. You think you are losing study time – but your mind will be able to absorb more if it has a break! This is one of the best things that you can do for your body and mind.
