Camping is a great way to spend time with your family and to relax. While being out in the wild can be exciting it can also be dangerous if you do not have the right supplies with you when you need them most. These supplies will help you to survive out in the wild.

The first thing you need to pack are your clothes. In the wild you have to be careful of bugs and snakes and all sorts of creatures. This is not the time to be packing your flip flops. Instead you need boots, socks, and layers of clothing. You should always anticipate the weather dropping. Make sure you have enough clothes to change into if it rains.

After this it is time to pack up the cooking supplies. You can build a fire in the woods – but this is not very safe to do anymore. Instead bring along a camping stove and the fuel needed for it to function. Make sure you also bring any pots and pans and plates. You don’t want to bring too many things that have to be thrown away.

If you are near a lake than you will have a fresh supply of water when you need it. If not than you need to bring along a cooler full of water and ice. Bring along some water purification tablets and water bottles for everyone to use.

The next thing you need to bring along are the sleeping tents and bags. Each person should have their own sleeping bag. If you want to cut down on space and money than buy a tent that you can all share. Make sure it is easy to set up and will handle the weather.

Lastly you should bring along the safety supplies. A first aid kit with suntan lotion, rubbing alcohol, band aids, and other supplies should be kept on hand at all times. You must also bring along camping flash lights. These will be your eyes when night falls and help to keep you safe.
