Hemorrhoids are something that many people have to deal with. They are quite painful, itchy, and when not treated can lead to other problems or become much worse. There are medicines you can use which are applied to the hemorrhoid but this can be messy and unpleasant. Instead why not try some more natural methods that are sure to help.

Diet

The best thing you can do is to change out the foods that you eat. You should be drinking at least six glasses of water in order to regulate your body. Also try to increase the amount of fiber that you eat. This will help to reduce bleeding and keep you from becoming constipated. Stay away from high fatty foods and sodas.

Exercise

When you have a regular exercise routine you are helping to improve the health of your body and strengthening the veins. When these are weak they can lead to hemorrhoids and make them quite painful. Just make sure that you do not do any exercises that can hurt that area and make it worse.

Bath

When you are in a particular amount of pain or itching very badly then you should take a warm bath with some Epsom salt. Soak in it for ten minutes or more to help reduce the size and the symptoms of it. The Epsom salt is not necessary – but it does help with the soothing and is better to use instead of bath salts or bath bubbles.

Herbal Supplements

There are many different types of fruit based liquids and herbal supplements that will help treat hemorrhoids. You can find these at many health food stores or even drug stores. These help to reduce the pain and pressure you are experiencing. Just be careful because some of them do have certain side effects for some people.
