There are some people who believe that dreams are more than just a way for us to release the things that are stressing us out. They are also a way to tell us our future and what to expect in our life. Dreaming is something that we all do – but only a few of us have what is known as lucid dreaming.
This is one of the most common forms of dreaming and is also referred to as conscious dreaming. During this type of dreaming the person is aware that they are dreaming and can remember most details about it. For some people they will be dreaming for a long time before they realize that they are in fact awake even if you cannot control what you are dreaming.
In most cases this type of dreaming has been induced by something that is telling the person that what they are going through right at that time is a dream instead of reality. However, these cues are not always necessary. Some people naturally understand that it is only a dream and have learned to tell the difference.
It is possible for some people to be able to control their dreams during this state. This does take practice though and for some people they will never be able to do it. Whether or not the person is able to control their dreams is based on how aware they are when it is happening.
There are different levels of awareness in people who are lucid dreaming. People who have a high awareness are able to control even the smallest details of the dream and will know almost immediately that it is only a dream. Those who barely notice that it is a dream will have little to no control over it.
