Fundraising is a great way to earn money for families in need, your local school, or even for missionary trips for your church. But trying to figure out how to raise that money is not so easy. The most common method that large organizations use is to put together a special dinner or party that people pay to come to.
But throwing a party can be expensive and we do not always have the money to do this. We have some ideas on smaller fundraising ideas that are sure to help. These are simple and easy for young kids and teenagers or even adults to participate in.
When in doubt why not purchase through special companies and buy home products – like candles – that you can sell to people. Some companies may donate their products to helping your cause or others will give you a discount. You can sell these products to your friends, family, and even co-workers. Or you can put together a small gathering of close friends and sell them there while you showcase them.
This is an oldie but a goody. Pick a weekend where you can get a bunch of people together who are willing to spend the afternoon washing other people’s cars. Everyone needs to clean their car and when they are helping kids out they feel good about not doing it themselves.
One of the easiest things that you can do is to have a candy fundraiser. Candy is very affordable and you can go to Sam’s Club and buy it in bulk for an affordable price. Plus everyone loves to purchase themselves some chocolate. You can sell candy bars at your work, to your friends and family, or even to banks and other small businesses. They can hand them out to kids or they will re-sell them for others.
